I can and I choose.... (journal excerpt)

Image
8/30/2022 - Libra Moon - Waxing Crescent I am an advanced soul who has lived many incarnations. I am working with my Higher Self to integrate the wisdom from many experiences and lifetimes so nothing is lost and all enhanced. I am in a process of spiritual weaving and integration at a soul level now. As I integrate the new I am also graciously letting go of what no longer serves me. My soul light shines bright through the space created. I am moving past the 3-D illusions put in place dictating "can" and "can't." I embrace the 5-D reality of " I can " and " I choose ." There is no can't - we can  do anything we choose . The secret is in the choice.  I choose better today. My focus is to make better - more informed, more guided, more infused with Spirit and Soul - choices today. As my dad says, "Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is your better and your better is your best." I am expanding my awareness and lear...

Mandala for Living our Highest Timeline

Image
This mandala was created as a personal piece to acknowledge my growth and support further transformation. I have been reading and listening to a lot of Thich Nhat Han lately, including his book No Mud, No Lotus . One of the Buddhist principles is that there is suffering. We all experience and go through suffering at different levels throughout our life and that enables us to experience greater depths of joy, love and compassion. Just as the lotus flower needs the mud in order to bloom, I have gone through great challenges which have shaped who I am today.  The center of the mandala has the alchemical symbol of the philosopher's stone of a circle in a square in a triangle in a circle. The philosopher’s stone is a symbol of transmutation as it is said to transform base metals, like lead, into gold. As I began to draw this symbol, I started visualizing placing all of my lower frequency energy, thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior into the center circle so it could be transmute...

Everything is Energy

Image
Everything is energy. We are all made up of energy. Emotions, feelings, colors, chakras, our environment, music… It is all energy. With the mindset of everything being energy, visualizing and focusing on the release of the lower energy and transmuting it to a high vibration has been effective in healing. There is light and dark in each of us, as there is light and dark in all aspects of the world and universe. We all experience wounds or energy compressions as a result of interactions with others. To foster and increase the light, focus on releasing the energy around the situation. It’s often been stated that “hurt people hurt people.” Finding compassion for the person and releasing the energy frees us and allows us to ascend more gracefully. We all need healing and just like an onion, there is always another layer.  Through our own experiences, we experience the highs and the lows so we can recognize the different aspects and foster appreciation. If we never know heartache and des...

Updates and Directions

Image
I have been focusing more on my art, specifically Zentangle Art and it has consumed the majority of my free time. It has been very rewarding to work with pen and ink with the focus on Zentangles. It has led me to start exploring sacred geometry as well. I am very honored to announce that my new art is now available for sale at the Soul Center in Downtown Mesa. I have matted prints available along with a few framed pieces.  My biggest announcement is that I am now offering free access to my online courses that I have created. I believe in the importance of making information available and giving back. My motives is to share freely with others what I have created and use regularly in my own life. Currently, I have a Cooking with Cannabis course along with an Herbal Index and Spiritual Tool Kit course that you can access. Visit my Online Courses page on my website to enroll as a student today!  I have also updated my service offerings. Please feel free to reach out to book a...

Make Your Own Magic: Morning Rituals

Image
The early morning quiet hours are very sacred to me. It is the time where I connect with Spirit, receive and record the messages meant for me that day, set my intention and lovingly nourish my mind, body and soul as I welcome a new day. I love my mornings so much that I always find a way to carve out enough time to complete my morning ritual. I cram so much into the morning that I willingly set my alarm for 4:30am just to ensure I can experience it all. My mornings weren't always this sacred. It began with one commitment to myself and began to naturally evolve into my beautiful morning practice.  It started with a commitment to do yoga every day. I had found myself hanging out in a place of judgement and realized that if I wasn't dedicated to my own practice I definitely had no place making judgments about how someone runs their business. I remember the moment distinctly as it took place during a Sound Bath in November of 2019. I had been practicing yoga on and off since I was ...

Maca Banana Date Nut Muffins

Image
My latest inspiration in baking was to see what I could make with bananas and dates. After browsing different recipes I decided to use the one I found at Joyous Apron as a base.  In the journey of living my best life, I have been focused on plant-based vegan gluten-free baking, so I made some tweaks and very happy with the results.  I use coconut oil in the muffins and I replaced the sugar with maple syrup. I love to use natural sweeteners like maple syrup and honey in my baking. The wonderful thing is it makes it easy to add plant-based powders into the baking. The moisture from the natural sweeteners is balanced by the plant powders to create a wonderful healthy edible.  Maca was the plant that I was inspired to use in this recipe. Maca is also known as Peruvian Ginseng and is indigenous to South America, specifically the Andes in Peru. The root can be ground into a powder and has been used to support the body in a number of ways including energy, balancing hormones, ...

Tapping for Abundance

Image
I was first introduced to Tapping and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) through my dad. Over the past 20 years, my dad has sent me different articles, audio files, videos, and full programs to encourage me to incorporate tapping into my daily life. For a brief period of time, I was seeing a counselor who specialized in tapping as well. Despite all the exposure and opportunities to become involved with tapping, I never did much with it.  Over the last year, my focus has been to be more open to suggestions. This all led me to take the Tapping for Abundance Workshop at Desert Sage Herbs . My mom and I have been taking classes there over the years and this one caught her eye as something I should participate in. I was a little skeptical, but I knew both presenters and have enjoyed their courses in the past. Brittney Sounart , a registered herbalist and EFT practitioner, partnered with Candice Cook , who is an herbalist and shamanic healer. The class incorporated a b...
