About Me... (the short and sweet version)

I am a local Arizonan artist and educator who is passionate about sharing, educating, and creating about chakras.

Why chakras? When I began reconnecting to my roots in my own healing journey, I became actively involved with the charkas. Through the language and the framework of the chakras I began to see how EVERYTHING is connected. With a teacher's heart, I get excited to share what I learn with others. I love the chakra connections and am excited to share with you as I continue my own journey.

This mandala was created as a personal piece to acknowledge my growth and support further transformation. I have been reading and listening to a lot of Thich Nhat Han lately, including his book No Mud, No Lotus . One of the Buddhist principles is that there is suffering. We all experience and go through suffering at different levels throughout our life and that enables us to experience greater depths of joy, love and compassion. Crystal Gridding has me Grinning!

    Crystals have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I remember at a young age going to  conventions with my parents and sitting through workshops on crystals. I remember learning an invocation at a young age to cleanse crystals and have used it ever since. I learned the "rules" in regards to handling crystals that have become a part of my mindful practice. Working with crystals in a variety of ways and wearing them is a daily habit. However, crystal grids is something new to me.  Growing up, I do not recall ever having been exposed or been aware of crystal grids. Over the past few years, as I have delved deeper into my work with crystals, I have seen beautiful grids shared through social media channels.
